Gardendale High School is close to being finished.  Deputy Superintendent Dr. Yancy Morris said "We started the moving process February 6 and are in the process of having electronics and data services installed.  Closure on that project will determine the completion date and the moving in of the students.  Anticipation is mid February."  It is a $47,792,000 building which was a project of the penny tax provided by the Jefferson County Commission.
