    • Hueytown HS Groundbreaking
    • A huge crowd assembles for the groundbreaking for the new Hueytown High School. Two former principals and the current one, center Gayle Gober helped spade some dirt at the ceremony on October 7.
    • MJHS Groundbreaking
    • It was a red letter day on October 6 when Mortimer Jordan community spaded dirt to replace a building built in the 1920s.
    • Minor Community School Ribbon Cutting
    • Minor Community School's Ribbon cutting was October 20th. Many media and community friends showed up for the celebration of this penny-tax construction.
